Learning new skills, building confidence and having fun with Middlesbrough Football Club.
Our Year 5 children have had a fantastic time taking part in the Joy of Moving project, working alongside Middlesbrough Football Club (MFC) and their brilliant coach, Amy.
The project has been a wonderful opportunity for children to get active, try new challenges and discover the joy of movement through fun and engaging activities.
Throughout the sessions, the children have developed their physical skills, worked as a team and challenged themselves to try new things. There have been plenty of smiles, laughter and moments of achievement along the way!
The project has also helped bring our bespoke Abingdon Curriculum Progression to life, supporting children’s development in PE and helping them build confidence, teamwork and a positive attitude towards being active.

There is even more excitement to celebrate! As a special surprise, MFC generously donated two match tickets for one lucky Year 5 winner, along with three runner-up tickets. What an amazing opportunity to experience the excitement of a live football match at the Riverside Stadium!
We hope these special prizes create wonderful memories that the children will treasure for years to come.
