Our Gardening Club has been busy getting their hands dirty and learning all about growing, caring for and harvesting vegetables! 🥔🥒🌱
With the fantastic support of Mrs Stevenson and Mrs Mansha, our young gardeners have been working hard to care for our growing spaces and are now enjoying the rewards of their efforts.
This week, our super gardeners proudly shared some of the first harvest of the season in assembly. Just look at those potatoes and courgettes! 🥔🥒
Gardening Club is a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to develop teamwork, responsibility and practical skills, while learning about where our food comes from and the importance of caring for our environment.
It was lovely to celebrate their hard work in assembly alongside the many other exciting things happening across Abingdon Primary School.
