PE and Sports Premium

Primary School Sport Premium Funding

Government funding is provided annually to develop PE, School Sport and Physical Activity in all primary schools (Primary Sport Premium Funding).

We have considered carefully how to utilise this funding to improve teaching and learning in PE across the school and impact on the pupils within our school. We believe that the Sport Premium funding should support three key areas; physical education, healthy active lifestyles and competitive school sport.

It will be used for:

  1. Local Sports Partnership
  2. Subject leader training
  3. Staff PE training
  4. Inter school events and competitions
  5. Access to specialist sports teachers and coaches
  6. Transport to and from sporting events and festivals
  7. Supply cover for staff training and to attend school sports events
  8. Equipment/resources/materials
