Digital Safeguarding update!

Hello children and parents!

Firstly, I hope you are all staying safe and keeping fit and healthy.

Due to lock down I haven’t had the ‘facetime’ with your all that we are normally used to. But do not fear we at Abingdon are constantly thinking of ways to ensure you and your children are safe online.

As you know technology is always on the grow and due to Covid-19 we have all increased our usage with devices.

I wanted to take this opportunity to provide some guidance with the latest trends, gaming consoles and apps that have become top of the ‘hit list’.

If you have any questions or concerns with what your child/children have been accessing, or even if they are asking questions about a certain video game and you are unsure if its appropriate; please get in touch with your class teacher via Class Dojo and we will support you as best we can!

The follow posters are from NOS – National Online Safety. These include parent information and child information so feel free to read them with your child/children if you wish.

Thank you for your continued support
