Welcome to Abingdon Primary School

Every child matters at Abingdon Primary School. We aim to achieve the very highest standards of education within a caring, exciting and stimulating environment. We are committed to ensuring that all our pupils achieve their full potential and enjoy their learning.

At the entrance to our school is a sign which says ‘The very best students are learning here’. We truly believe that the children of Abingdon are amazing! Every member of staff gives their very best effort, often ‘going the extra mile’ to ensure that we help our children to have the best primary education possible. We hope that you will come to see us in person to see what a fantastic place this is to learn. We are very pleased that you have chosen to view our website. We hope that it gives you a real flavour of the wonderful learning taking place in our school.

OFSTED 2018:

“At Abingdon Primary, no child is left behind and as a consequence pupils are confident and cooperative members of the school.”

“Developing the whole child and being responsive to pupils’ wider needs is central to your continued success and is ensuring that pupils are well prepared for their next steps and life in modern Britain.”
